PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the surface pressure-sensitive adhesiveness of a flexible layer without detriment to the features of the flexible layer by imparting pressure-sensitive adhesiveness to the surface of the layer by an interfacial contact reaction of the layer with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. SOLUTION: Pressure-sensitive adhesiveness is imparted to the surface of a flexible layer having a thickness of severalμm to several mm and prepared by coating a substrate, for example, a plastic film, paper, cloth, or a metal foil with a thermoplastic, thermosetting, ultraviolet-curing, electron-beam-curing, moisture-curing, or like polymer by means of hot melt coating, calendering coating, extrusion coating, roll coating, or the like by an interfacial contact reaction between the flexible layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a thickness of, desirably, 10μm or below, more desirably, 1μm or below, desirably, between the reactive functional groups (e.g. amino groups) contained in the flexible layer and a pressure-sensitive layer containing reactive functional groups (e.g. NCO groups) reactive with the former functional groups. Therefore, both layers can be tightly fixed with each other through chemical bonding.
