The plastic sheet (1) is biodegradable. Preferred features: Biodegradation of the sheet on the ground (6) is complete in three years or alternatively in less than a year. The sheet is opaque to visible and ultraviolet light, and/or is coated with such a material. The sheet has a central hole (2) with slit (3) to the edge. The sheet is held down under tension. Its thickness is 0.02 - 2 mm. The sheet is weighted down.
