PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preheating a tire vulcanizing mold capable of efficiently preheating a tire vulcanizing mold by suppressing energy consumption.SOLUTION: In a state where a tire vulcanizing container 1, which comprises a segment 3 which is attached to the outer peripheral surface of a plurality of respective selector molds 9 annularly arranged, a lifting and lowering plate 4 to which an upper side mold 10a is attached, a bottom plate 5 to which a lower side mold 10b is attached and a container ring 2 which vertically moves, is not installed on a vulcanizer, an outside surface of the tire vulcanizing container 1 is heated by a heating body 7 while a heated gas F supplied through an injection pipe 6a is blown toward a tire-molding surface S of at least the selector molds 9 of the closed molds 9, 10a and 10b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
