SOLUTION: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes at least two sheets of gasket bases 2 and 4 held between a cylinder head and a cylinder block 3, full beads 2a and 4a disposed on the gasket bases and endlessly surrounding combustion chamber holes 6, and a shim plate 5 disposed between both gasket bases and endlessly surrounding the combustion chamber holes. A high heat conductive material 12 having high heat conductivity is mounted on the gasket base 4 at a cylinder block side, and the high heat conductive material is disposed on a position to be superposed to a water jacket 8 opened on a surface of the cylinder block 3.EFFECT: As the high heat conductive material is superposed on the water jacket, the cylinder head gasket 1 can be effectively cooled by cooling water in the water jacket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
