PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side part vehicle body structure of an open car which enables improvement of binding power between column members and cross bars to improve side collision performance and riding quality.SOLUTION: A side part vehicle body structure of an open car includes: a first cross bar 16 having a roll bar 16a; left and right column members 18 supporting both vehicle width direction end parts 16b of the first cross bar 16; a second cross bar 17 connecting the column members 18 with left and right pillar members 6; and seat belt retractor attachment brackets 19, each of which is disposed below the second cross bar 17 and at the vehicle inner side of the column member 18. The second cross bar 17 and the seat belt retractor attachment bracket 19 are connected by a connection member 30 with the column member 18 disposed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
