The method involves displaying the image information for the left and right eyes segment-wise, in nested form, on a screen (12). A barrier (18) is arranged so that only the associated information is visible for each eye. A copy of the information for one or both adjacent segments for the same eye is displayed in each segment (28), in addition to the image information associated with that segment. An Independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method.
