摘要 A force transmission device for use in a hybrid vehicle to transmit and separate drive force from an IC engine or a motor, has a two-way clutch with engagement elements and a control device to control the two-way clutch so as to lock it and release it. The control device has an electromagnetic clutch which has a solenoid and an armature. The two-way clutch an outer ring; an inner component that is mounted on the outer ring, whereby the outer ring and the inner component have surfaces facing each other and one of these surfaces is designed with a cylindrical surface, the other with a number of cam surfaces opposite the cylindrical ones so as to form wedge-shaped spaces between them; a hold-back device which is located between the opposite surfaces of the outer ring and the inner component and is provided with a number of pockets, whereby rollers are accommodated in each pocket in order to be able to be brought into engagement with the cylindrical surface and the cam surfaces when the outer ring and the inner component turn relative to one another; and an elastic component that is mounted between the hold-back device and the outer ring of inner component to press the rollers into a neutral non-engagement position.
