PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller that combines a temperature sensor with operation functions of a microcomputer in a vacuum heating dry type oily water separator such that a finished state of the separator is confirmed by a drain temperature rise. SOLUTION: A drain temperature within a vacuum chamber 1 is measured with a sensor 7. When the microcomputer detects that that measured value exceeds the boiling point of water within the vacuum chamber 1, a valve is automatically controlled to open/close such that the drain can be continuously separated. This makes it possible to vaporize and reduce water to the atmosphere, and discharge oil from the-vacuum chamber 1.
