PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope locking fixture whose work execution is easy and which can exhibit an excellent rock fall prevention function, in a rock fall prevention method spreading wire ropes in a lattice shape. SOLUTION: This wire rope locking fixture 10 is provided with locking parts 13 for locking wire ropes 11, 12 movably in a longitudinal direction and the connection part 14 with an anchor 16 for fixing the locking part 13 to a slant surface 15. By inserting the wire ropes 11, 12 crossingly for the locking part 13 of the wire rope locking fixture 10 fixed to the slant surface 15, the wire ropes 11, 12 can be locked to the slant surface 15.
