PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost electro-magnetic fuel injection system that suppresses eddy-current generated in a magnetic circuit when driving a valve body, secures a large electro-magnetic suction force, and exhibits high response and strong suction force. SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves 18 are formed along the center axis on the outer peripheral surfaces of a cylindrical core 17 and a valve body 3 of a fuel injection system. A ferrite 21 as a magnetic body is embedded in each of those grooves 18. Owing to those grooves 18, the passage on which the eddy-current passes is elongated to increase the resistance value, thus suppressing the eddy-current. The ferrite 21 embedded into the groove 18 serves to reduce the magnetic resistance, thus securing a large electro-magnetic suction force. In this case, as the ferrite 21 is embedded only in the groove 18, only a small amount thereof is necessary, thus reducing the manufacturing cost.
