PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermally reversible color changing leather and a method for producing the same, changing its color reversibly by a temperature change without forming a crack of a coating or an adhesion inferiority of the thermally reversible color changing ink. SOLUTION: This thermally reversible color changing leather 1 is constituted by forming a thermally reversible color changing ink coated layer 1d obtained by blending a thermally reversible color changing material with a water soluble binder on a leather layer, and the color of the surface of the thermally reversible color changing leather 1 changes reversibly by a temperature change.
