Cable (2) and sheath (3) are located in a mold (10) comprising two cavities and a positioner (11). One cavity molds the nipple (4) onto the cable, the other molds the ring stop (5) onto the sheath, with appropriate spacings. The positioner sets relative locations like a jig, and once located (if not previously carried out), the mold is closed. Nipple and stop are molded-on simultaneously. Independent claims are also included for the mold and the product.
