The wine crate inverter has a conveyor belt (2) on which cartons (3) are advanced before being inverted. Two inversion guides which pivot the cartons each comprise a transverse bar (5) arranged at about 3/4 of the height of the carton. This bar is free to be translated upwards by a push along the carton trajectory in order to stop the front (6) of each carton and cause its tipping.
