PORTABLE DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR COLOR COMPRESSION STILL PICTURE

PURPOSE: A portable display apparatus is to be operated by a dry battery and be connected to a digital still camera for transmitting a digital picture data photographed by a user to a smart media card and displaying the digital picture through a liquid crystal display(LCD). CONSTITUTION: A portable display apparatus comprises: a power device unit including a dry battery(1), a DC/DC converter, a regulator(2), and an A/D converter(3) for providing a stable power; a digital auto camera interface unit(5) for receiving a digital picture data; an optical amount measuring unit(10,11) including an optical amount sensor(10) and an A/D converter(11) for sensing an optical amount and for converting an input analog signal into a digital signal to transmit the digital signal to a controller(4); a display unit(9) for displaying a LCD panel and a residual quality of the dry cell(1); a smart media card interface unit(6) having an interface circuit and a guide; a personal computer interface unit(7,8) including a PC interface USB port(7) and an USB port(8) for transmitting a digital still picture data to the personal computer; and a control unit(4) including a micro-controller and an internal memory for compressing the digital color still picture data. Therefore, in the case of a user having a plurality of smart media card, the user stores desired photographs to the smart media card to edit a digital photograph album.
