PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield wire for signal transmission which is superior in transmitting characteristics and in which foaming degree of an insulating layer between cores is uniform, movement of the core inside a shield layer does not accur, and drop of the shield layer into a space between the cores can not be found so that there is no difference in the electrostatic capacity, the characteristic impedance or the like between the cores. SOLUTION: A foamed polyethylene tape 4 is wound around a core 2 manufactured by integrally covering the conductors 1 which are arranged in parallel with each other at a gap with a foamed polyethylene insulating layer 3, a shield layer 5 and an external coating layer 10 are successively formed on the same, and further the space parts 8 formed with the grooves 9 formed on the insulating layer 3 and the foamed polyethylene 4 are formed on the upper and lower positions between the conductors 1.
