A carton packaging for delicate flat objects (20) is folded from a single flat preform and has two opposite sides folded to form hollow spaces (12). The inside walls (13) of the hollow spaces, facing the object, have a central cut (17) and lateral cuts to form tags which are displaced if the pack suffers a mechanical shock. The hinge parts of the tags are formed by scored lines (19) to enable the tags to be displaced. For large objects several tags can be used.
