The present invention relates to a device (10) which can be mounted on the ceiling, or the like, of a building and which is intended for storing the wheels (26) or the tyres of a vehicle. The device includes a base (12) comprising a plurality of support members (14) which are connected to said base (12) at one end and which are fitted with retaining members (16) for the wheels (26) or the tyres of a vehicle at the other end. The support members (14) are pivotally connected to the base (12) and can be displaced from a reception position to a storage position.
