PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which time codes which are identical in terms of time are recorded into a plurality of recording devices without using an external time-code generator. SOLUTION: In a recording apparatus 320, a time-code generator 322 which generates TCG data 329 as a time-code signal is installed, and a time-code correction means 325 wherein the processing delay time elapsed until a picture and sound signal 303 to be output from a picture and sound signal source 302 as recording data to be input from the outside is output to a recording medium 323 by a picture and sound processing part 335 and the processing delay time elapsed until the TCG data 329 from the time-code generator 322 is output to the outside by a time-code signal output means 326 are added to the TCG data 329 so as to be output is installed.
