PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify assembly and to improve accuracy in a magnetic head of a disk device. SOLUTION: In the magnetic head of the disk device, in which the magnetic head 1 is arranged at the tip end of a suspension 2 made of a leaf spring provided on a lever 3 and the recording position, where the magnetic head 1 is in contact with a disk, is switched to the reproducing position, where the magnetic head 1 is separated from the disk, by the motion of the lever 3, and the motion of the suspension 2 is controlled with an arm 33 provided projectingly on the lever 3, the base end of the lever 3 is welded and fixed to the lever 3 and the arm 33 is integrally projected therewith from the lever 3.
