PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic reproducing device capable of changing over the detection voltage simultaneously with the changeover of an amplification degree of the differential amplification of a reproduction signal read out by a magnetic head. SOLUTION: In the magnetic reproducing device, data recorded on a magnetic disk are read out by the magnetic head 2. The reproduction signal reproduced by the magnetic head 2 is amplified by amplifier circuits 24, 38 in a read-out circuit 11. In a correction circuit 39, by comparing a bias voltage of the magnetic head 2 with the detection voltage, the fluctuation of this bias voltage is detected and corrected in accordance with this detection result. In such a magnetic reproducing device, it is further arranged so that the amplification degree of the amplifier circuit is set by a control signal inputted to one changeover terminal 37 and also the detection voltage is set linked therewith.
