FIELD: metal casting, namely steel casting to mold of steel continuous casting plants. SUBSTANCE: nozzle has inlet portion with circular cross section and draining outlet portion with rectangular cross section immersed to melt in mold. Wall thickness values of inlet and outlet portions are constant ones, relation of areas of their cross sections is no more than 1.7. Inlet portion has flat end mouth. EFFECT: increased service life period of nozzle, uniform passing of melt in discharging portion of nozzle. 13 cl, 5 dwg
