PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily comb the snarls out of the hair, to provide a superior combing performance, to clean pores as well as the hair and the head skin by the combined use with shampoo, and to provide superior massage effects by arranging large-diameter bristles of non-perfect-circle cross section on a base. SOLUTION: The cross section of a large-diameter bristle 2 is so adjusted as to become a non-perfect-circle shape and the large-diameter bristles 2 are arranged on a base 4. Among materials for the bristle 2 are preferably polyethylene, polyolefine such as polypropylene, nylon, a synthetic resin such as polyacetal, urethane rubber, silicone, and elastic materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, elastomer. The base 4 may be set to various shapes such as a disc, an elliptical, and rectangular shape, however, from the viewpoint of the combing performance of the brush 1 and the massage effects, it is preferable to constitute the moving direction of the brush 1 and the long shaft of the bristle 2 coincided with each other.
