PURPOSE: A synthetic resin composition containing shell powder is an inexpensive and environmental-favorable synthetic resin composition with reduced production cost. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin composition containing shell powder comprises less than 45 wt.% of a shell powder material based on the total weight of the resin composition, the synthetic resin composition being prepared by the steps of: mixing 55 wt.% of a base resin consisting of polyethylene or polypropylene and 45 wt.% of the shell powder material having an average particle size of less than 1 micrometer, to produce a master batch; and second adding the base resin to the master batch, the polyethylene being selected from the group consisting of low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene. |
