PURPOSE: A heater for a washing machine is provided to prevent the danger such as an electric shock by an insulation destruction of a fuse unit by preventing the infiltration of moisture from an insulation rubber to the fuse unit even though the insulation in an insulation bushing and a resin is destroyed. CONSTITUTION: The heater for the washing machine comprises: a coil pin(9) connected a coil(12), installed in the one end inside a heater pipe(10); a temperature fuse(7) connected in the other end of the coil pin(9); the temperature fuse(7) connected to a terminal(1) outside the heater pipe(10) through a terminal pin(2); the temperature fuse(7) and the coil pin(9) fixed by a fuse holder(8); the terminal pin(2) fixed by an insulation bushing(3), a resin, a plastic of a fuse case(6), and formed to be insulated with the heater pipe(10); and the resin(4) bonded between the fuse case(6) and the insulation bushing to maintain the insulation.
