The sleeping bag is of a compound material which is impermeable to bacteria and allergens, but can breathe. The material has a light textile carrier fabric with a laminated micro-porous membrane. The textile fabric is of knitted cotton, silk or other natural fibers, or synthetic fiber materials, with a fabric weight of 30-150 g/m<2> and pref. 50-80 g/m<2>.
