PURPOSE: A receiver including a polyphase filter is provided to economize a cost for an adjacent channel selectivity separately from an image rejection. CONSTITUTION: The receiver comprises: a frequency transformer for inducing a plurality of other intermediate polyphase signals from a filtered polyphase signal; another polyphase filter for inducing other filtered polyphase signal from another filtered polyphase signal; one of other polyphase filters disposed for attenuating a signal more than a first frequency; and one of other polyphase filters disposed for attenuating a signal less than a second frequency.
