PURPOSE: A method for working a multi-cylindered internal-combustion engine is provided to achieve the secondary reduction of fuel consumption with a low cost when loading by revolving and low loading. CONSTITUTION: The driving device of a multi-cylindered internal-combustion engine is composed of:at least more than one suction valve(10) per cylinder; a cam shaft(11, 12) for working the suction valve; a lift transfer member(13) placed between a cap(24a, 24b) of the cam shaft and the suction valve; a piece(14, 15, 27) for varying a valve lift of the suction valve; at least more than one suction valve possessed to work with a cap which has at least more than two lift curves each other; and the lift transfer member on the suction valve having two lifting members(22, 23) which respectively work the cam of the different lift curve each other.
