PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a function for accurately and quickly stopping a motor at a specified position with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This camera has the motor, a mechanism to be driven by the rotation of the motor, a rotating direction detecting means for detecting the rotating direction of the motor and a driving controlling means for driving the mechanism to be driven by energizing the motor in the direction where the motor is normally rotated, and is provided with an energizing controlling means for energizing the motor is the direction in which the motor is reversely rotated when the motor is stopped and also energizing in the direction where the motor is normally rotated for a specified time again in accordance with the rotating direction inversion output of the rotating direction detecting means.
