A plug connector system for telecommunications junction box (TA) having different plug contacts (1...10) for different communications services. A service-specified adapter set (A1,A2,A5) can be plugged into the telecommunications junction box (TA) for contacting given plug contacts assigned to a given communications service and for receiving a plug element joined to a communications device. A service-specified adapter set (A1,A2,A5) can be freed from the plug contacts not contacted by it, for making contact through at least one additional service-specified adapter set (A1,A2,A5).
