PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the flame retardant standards, increase the ozone resistance, and reduce the permanent set by setting chloroprene rubber and ethylene propylene rubber to the major components and by specifying the quantity of aluminum hydroxide powder adding thereto. SOLUTION: Chloroprene rubber and ethylene propylene rubber are set to the major components of the rubber and aluminum hydroxide powder 1-100 pts.wt. is added to the rubber components 100 pts.wt. If it is less than 1 pts.wt., no flame retardant performance is obtained, and if it exceeds 100 pts.wt., the permanent set is enlarged. The weight ratio of the chloroprene rubber to the ethylene propylene rubber 99/1-40/60 shows superior balance between the ozone resistance and the flame retardant performance and the characteristics such as the permanent set become favorable in 90/10-60/40. This constitution satisfies the flame retardant standards as the OA equipment parts, even if the thickness is set to 1 mm or less, and especially 0.4 mm, provides it with the superior ozone resistance, and reduce the permanent set.
