PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ball already incorporated from flawing during incorporation of balls in a bearing at a manufacturing process of a double raw ball bearing at an orbit forming part of one row of balls on outer ring side. SOLUTION: This double row ball bearing comprises an inner ring 6 provided on an outer peripheral surface with first and second raceway forming parts 7 and 8 on the first and second inner ring sides; an outer ring 1 provided on an inner peripheral surface with first and second outer raceway forming parts 4 and 5 on the first and second outer ring side; and balls 9 respectively incorporated in first and second raceways formed between the raceway forming parts 7 and 8 on the first and second inner ring sides and the raceway forming parts 4 and 5 on the first and second outer ring sides with the raceway forming parts on the outer and inner ring sides being positioned opposite to each other. A counter bore part 3 is formed at least at the raceway forming part on the outer ring side of the raceway on the side where the larger number of the balls 9 are incorporated. In this case, by applying polishing (g) on the counter bore part 3, the ball 9 is prevented form flawing when the balls 9 are incorporated.
