PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a detent member to a castle nut. SOLUTION: A base part 11 bridges over slots 31 of a castle nut 3 fitted to a bolt 2, perpendicularly in the axial direction. A detent portion 12 which is extended from the center of the base part 11 sequentially to the axis of the castle nut 3 inserts through the slots 31 bridged by the base 11 and a diametral through-hole 21 formed on the bolt 2. Extended portions 13, 13 are extended respectively from both ends of the base part 11 in the same direction as that of the detent portion 12, and can be elastically deformed in the separable direction at their both fronts. Inward engagement projections 14, 14 are arranged at the fronts of the extended portions 13, 13 oppositely to each other, with a space narrower than that between grooves 32, 32 adjacent to both sides of the slot 31 bridged by the base part 11. The projections 14 are engaged with the grooves 32, 32 in the state that the detent part 12 sequentially inserts through the slot 31 of the castle nut 3 and the through-hole 21 of the bolt 2.
