PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a restraining arm and a fastening pin from being deformed to make a door hard to open even when large external force acts upon a door guard due to an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: A restraining arm 3 is mounted to a door 1, and an arm receiving means 5 is mounted to a door frame 2. The arm receiving means 5 comprises a fastening pin 15 engaged with a slide groove 8 of the restraining arm 3, and a holder 13 for supporting the fastening pin 15. The fastening pin 15 is supported to be vertically slidable by a supporting shaft 14 fixed to the holder 13. The fastening pin 15 is held into a reference position by a spring 16 fitted to the outer periphery of the lower part of the supporting shaft 14. When strong force acts upon a connection part between the restraining arm 3 and the fastening pin 15, the fastening pin 15 slides either upward or downward along the supporting shaft 14. External force therefore escapes to prevent the deformation of the restraining arm 3 and fastening pin 15.
