PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a monitor video image from being interrupted at a connection change in the case that a plurality of video sources are cyclicly interconnected by an ISDN line and the video image is displayed on a monitor. SOLUTION: An image transmitter 11 of a headquarters 1 sets telephone numbers and the connection time of branches 2a, 2b by using a monitor 12, dials the branch 2a, connects to the branch 2a by an ISDN 3, a video image of a monitor camera 22 is transmitted to the headquarters by using two channels B1, B2 via the image transmitter 21, the channel B1 is interrupted after the connection time, the branch 2b is dialed by using this channel and connected, the transmission of the video image of the branch 2b is started to the headquarters, the channel B2 of the branch 2a is interrupted at the same time, connects to the branch 2b and the video image is transmitted by using the two channels. The video image transmitted to the headquarters is displayed on the monitor 12 and recorded on a VTR 13.
