PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the recurrence of a crack in a paving slab by repairing or reinforcing the paving slab as a construction capable of absorbing the expansion of the cracked paving slab not making rigid joint of the crack occurring in the paving slab. SOLUTION: When a joing groove 4 is bored at right angles to a crack 3, a cutting blade is rotated to bore the joint groove 4 with specific depth, length and the same width as the thickness of the blade, at the same time, a bar body 6 of a long and narrow metal plate is interiorly decorated to the bottom of the joint groove 4 to fill the joint groove 4 with filler 5 so as to surround the bar body 6, and a plurality of joint grooves 4 are continuously provided in the longitudinal direction of the crack 3. Then, segregation treatment is applied to both sides that the bar body 6 reaches at least to the length longer than a half thereof. Before the joint groove 4 is filled with the filler 5, a soft back-up material is provided between the end to which the segregation treatment of the bar body 6 is applied and a groove wall of the joint groove.
