PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of pressure fluctuation of ink caused by reciprocating movement of a print head.SOLUTION: A damper device arranged between an ink cartridge and a print head includes a pressure chamber 18 which communicates with the print head and is filled with ink, and an opening/closing valve 16 arranged between a valve chamber 16a communicating with an ink cartridge side and the pressure chamber. A diaphragm 12 (12b, 12c) formed of a flexible resin film for shielding an atmosphere side of the pressure chamber is structured of a plate 25 arranged in a center part to press a valve element 21, and a ripple-like waveform part 12b formed on an annular part from the plate to a peripheral wall part 17c of a case 11 as an outer circumference of the pressure chamber. Spring biasing force can be increased by increasing a deformation amount of a coil spring 22 which biases the valve element 21 in a valve closing direction. Therefore, influence of pressure fluctuation of the ink can be suppressed, and good print quality can be maintained without reducing a valve opening amount in normal printing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
