METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LOCKING CONTROL KEY OF TELEVISION

PURPOSE: A method for locking a control key is to prevent a tele view of a person from being disturbed by locking control keys of a body or a remote control device of a television releasably to simply debilitate the keys. CONSTITUTION: A method for locking control keys of a television to lock control keys of body comprises the steps of: (S31)calling a main menu including a sub menu of setting/releasing lock of a body key by operating menu keys in a remote control device; (S32)selecting the sub menu of setting/releasing lock of the body key when the main menu is displayed on a cathode ray tube; (S33)selecting a setting/releasing of key lock of body when the sub menu of setting/releasing of lock of the body key is selected in the step S33; (S34)forcibly making an input of the body control key to a microcomputer as low when a setting is selected in the step of selecting of setting/releasing; and (S35)releasing the forcible lowing operation when a releasing is selected in the step of selecting of setting/releasing.
