PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data error correcting device for quickly operating error correcting processing in a simple and small-scaled constitution. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a memory 24 equipped with banks 24a and 24b, ECC processor 22a for generating first error correction data by operating C1 correction of inputted data for error correction, and for alternately writing the generated first error correction data in the banks 24a and 24b by using a data frame for integrally operating product coding as a unit, and ECC processor 22b for generating second error correction data by operating C2 correction of the first error correction data read from the memory 24, writing the generated second error correction data in the banks 24a and 24b, and operating the second C1 correction of the second error correction data read form the memory 24.
