The housing has internal contours or openings (2,3) for receiving the coin mechanism and also for fixing the housing to a handle of the shopping trolley. The housing has one non-circular, negative internal contour or opening (3) which lies across the operating direction of the coin mechanism, for attaching the housing to the trolley handle. The opening corresponds to a non-circular positive external contour of the trolley handle, so that the housing is locked on the handle in a fixed position and cannot rotate. A further opening (2) is provided for receiving the coin mechanism.
