Folding collapsible hood for motor vehicles

The hood (1) has a hood frame (3) with a one-part side bracket (4). When the hood is in a closed position (2), one leg (12) of the bracket extends to the frame (10) of the windscreen. The length of the leg corresponds to a maximum of half the width of a support for the hood when folded-down. The side bracket has a full-length seal for waterproof connection between the hood and side window.
