The hoist (1) has a motor (4) driven pump (5) for a hydraulic medium (9); a piston/cylinder unit (6), container (8) for the hydraulic medium, a randomly operated lowering valve(27), a return valve (24) and connecting pipes (21,25,26,28,29) all integrated into a hydraulically sealed unit (2) attached to the floor conveyor. The pump, return valve and connecting pipes are incorporated in a head (3) to which the lowering valve, container and piston-cylinder unit are flange-mounted. The motor shaft (10) runs through the container.
