PURPOSE: A methionine-containing molded product and a method for preparing thereof are provided to have low dust. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a molded product is obtained by removing the water from water methionine suspension and fluid molded product containing methionine. Fluid methionine containing molded product comprises: 300-850kg/m¬3 of bulk density, specially 600-800 kg/m¬3 of bulk density: 63-5000μm, specially 500-1500μm of a particle spectrum: 60-98wt%, specially 85-95w.t% of methionine. A molded product is included the exterior material which is organic or inorganic material as an addition. The compound is produced from D,L-methionine or D,L-methionine salts, cyanic hydrogen, ammonia or CO2, and 5-(2-methylmercaptoethyl)-hydantoin. |
