PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic sensor having a few fluctuations in temperature characteristic and a magnetic detector using the same by a method, wherein the flowing direction of a current which is supplied to a pair of semiconductor magnetic resistant element chips is in the same direction as in disposition direction. SOLUTION: There are provided in a substrate 1 various wiring patterns comprising a power source wiring 23, an output wiring 24, and a ground wiring 25 in response to a shape of first and second semiconductor magnetic resistant element chips 11, 12. The semiconductor magnetic resistant element chips 11, 12 are arranged and adhered, so that they are arranged in the same direction as in the flowing direction of a current which is decided uniquely. In this way, the flowing direction of a current supplied to the pair of semiconductor magnetic resistant element chips 11, 12 is the same as in the disposition direction. By so doing, fluctuations in the temperature characteristics are reduced, and when the semiconductor magnetic resistant element chips 11, 12 are conveyed, it is possible to simplify as conveyance in only the same direction without reversing one element. It is aimed at to eliminating confirmation works of directivity.
