PREPARATION OF RED GINSENG BY NON-VAPOR UTENSIL

PURPOSE: To obtain a red ginseng using non-vapor utensil, having equal medicinal effect and brown color to which by traditional steaming method. Traditional method is steaming and drying 9 times repeat so 9-19 hours for making red ginseng. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a red ginseng comprised the steps that washing the 6 years old ginseng; steaming with non-vapor utensil with cap which a patent on a practical new device; steaming for 18-24 hours; drying at low temperature and sunlight; triturating and molding a ginseng shape.
