PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean parts to be cleaned without impairing and also without causing a poisonous gas to be generated by cooling the parts at a specific temperature or less using a cooling means. SOLUTION: A breaker plate 1 is soaked in a liquid storage tank 3 filled with a coolant 4, and is cooled at -50 deg.C or less by this soaking, resulting in the naturally expected generation of a shrinking phenomenon following the cooling. In this case, the breaker plate 1 which is of a metal and a plastic deposit 2 show their respectively different shrinkage factors due to the difference of their intrinsic coefficient of linear expansion. That is, the plastic deposit 3 shrinks more significantly than the breaker plate 1. Besides, due to their respectively different coefficients of thermal conductivity, their shrinkage shows a time lag. Consequently, the intermolecular force is sheared by the different shrinkage factors and the time lag in shrinkage. This it is possible to remove the plastic deposit 2 easily either without the application of an external force or by a slightly applied external force.
