A first gas which is stored in vessel (1) as a liquid (2) is injected into a stream of a second gas flowing through a mixer (11) by the pressure of a third gas, applied through a control valve (20) to the liquid surface in (1) to expel the liq. up tube (3) and through an electrically heated vaporiser (5) to the mixer. (20) is continually controlled to obtain the desired proportions of 1st and 2nd gases in the mixt. Mixing appts. is also claimed.
