PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and surely remove the clogging during operation in the case of clogging a lance for blowing powdery material such as fine pulverized coal and synthetic resin into a metallrgical furnace such as a blast furnace. SOLUTION: In this device 1 for removing the clogging of the lance consisting of a connecting part 2 connected to the lance 4 for blowing the powdery material and a movable part 3 inserted into the connecting part 2 and moved in the inside of the lance, the connecting part 2 can be attached/detached to/from a pipe joint 8 disposed succeedingly to a valve 7 at the powdery material inlet side of the lance, and the movable part 3 is inserted into the lance along the axial direction of the lance and its tip part 18a can be moved to the tip part of the lance. The joint part of the connecting part 2 and the movable part 3 has a sealing structure 10 for shutting off the inner part of the lance from the outside air and the clogging part M in the lance is removed by moving the movable part 3 into the inner part of the lance.
