PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition capable of enclosing and covering an objective material with a bulky packing material, without requiring a long waiting time, capable of readily providing a packed state of the objective material, and especially convenient for treatment of filth. SOLUTION: This aerosol composition forms a packing material enclosing the objective material by adhering on the surface of the objective material, and comprises a resin having film-formability, a fatty acid solid at normal temperature, and a propellant comprising a liquefied gas capable of dissolving them. Preferably, the proportion of the included resin is 5-30 wt.%, that of the included fatty acid is 5-60 wt.%. The proportion of the included solvent is preferably 0 or <=5 wt.%. Diethyl ether, a liquefied petroleum gas or a mixture thereof is used as the propellant. The composition preferably includes a coloring matter.
