The hydraulic controller has a hydraulic unit for accommodating a hydraulic mechanism for setting the brake fluid pressure for use for vehicle control or regulation and an actuator drive switching unit (2) connected to hydraulic unit and with a switching unit housing (3). The switching unit housing has a working region (9) for accommodating an electronic control actuator (7,8) for controlling the hydraulic mechanism, a separate electronic substrate region (6) for accommodating an electronic substrate (4) for controlling a brake fluid pressure generating actuator and a liquid-tight structure preventing liquid from entering the substrate region.
