PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control a plurality of devices to be controlled remotely with a single portable pointing input output device. SOLUTION: The portable pointing input output device 2 is provided with a wrist band 21, a button switch 22 to select an optional device to be remotely controlled 3, and an operation panel 23 that displays an image corresponding to the selected device to be remotely controlled 3, and stores image corresponding to a plurality of the devices to be remotely controlled 3. When an operator selects an optional device to be remotely controlled 3, a graphic operation panel 4 of the device to be remotely controlled 3 and the portable pointing input output device 2 are connected by a radio communication channel and a button image for cursor movement is mainly displayed on the operation panel 28 and a menu for a plurality of selection items with respect to the device to be remotely controlled 3 is displayed on the graphic operation panel 4.
